Ingredients

garlic cloves 2 2 2 2 β€’ peeled and minced
brown sugar 60 mL 4 tbsp 4 tbsp ΒΌ cup
light soy sauce 45 mL 3 tbsp 3 tbsp 1.52 fl. oz
dark soy sauce 30 mL 2 tbsp 2 tbsp 1.01 fl. oz
ketchup 30 mL 2 tbsp 2 tbsp 1.01 fl. oz
malt vinegar 15 mL 1 tbsp 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
tamarind paste 15 mL 1 tbsp 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
fish sauce 15 mL 1 tbsp 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
white pepper a pinch a pinch a pinch a pinch
water 60 mL 4 tbsp 4 tbsp ΒΌ cup β€’ optional

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except water in a bowl. If not marinating, add the water.
  2. Simmer sauce over medium heat until thickened to your liking!
