red chilli 1
  • chopped finely
chilli sauce (e.g. Sriracha) 15 mL
garlic cloves 2
  • peeled and minced
brown sugar 60 mL
light soy sauce 45 mL
dark soy sauce 30 mL
ketchup 30 mL
malt vinegar 15 mL
tamarind paste 15 mL
fish sauce 15 mL
white pepper a pinch
water 60 mL
  • optional
  1. Combine all ingredients except water in a bowl. If not marinating, add the water.
  2. Simmer sauce over medium heat until thickened to your liking!
